'Involucrata' sounds like a bodily function.

I have been feeling very lonely these past few days. I really wish I had friend.

After food shopping today we stopped by Home Depot to pick up some fuses. I found a very beautiful little plant and took it home, but it had lost it's identifying tag.

After several hours of searching, I found out that it's Pilea Involucrata, commonly known as the Friendship Plant.

How's that for underwhelming wish fulfillment?

oh, my sweet dear one. So sorry I haven't called lately, I've been distracted by stuff that doens't really matter. I'm sorry you're lonely. That sucks. Hang in there (as lame as I realize that sounds). (and it sounds super lame. Sorry.)

Not too much of any real significance going on here. Have you been watching the Commie Olympics? I haven't yet but I'm hoping to catch some diving and swimming stuff on reruns. Maybe some floor gymnastics. I finally watched floor last Olymipcs, and it was pretty cool. Those sticks with the ribbon on it? Apparently real people (if you can call gymnasts that) actually use them in a sport. All these years I'd thought it was just a toy to whack people with and then flit away.

Oh, oh, and check out: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/olympics/monkey/7521287.stm The guy who did gorillaz made it for the olympics. It's about two minutes long, but still kinda cool. Also, go here: http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/ fun fun happy notes! It won't make you happy, but it might make you smile.

Miss you lots, looking forward to seeing you this Christmas, provided I'm not off doing what I do (check out what Russia did yesterday!). Love to you and yours. Kiss the kids for me.
