Since I'm obviously NOT GOING ANYWHERE this weekend, I've been putting together my labor playlist. I ripped some old songs off Mr. Legs' computer and now I'm in the process of getting the rest from Itunes.
For those of you that still exercise, I rediscovered an old favorite that you might enjoy:

I think he might say the b-word, but other than that it's clean.
Not much happening...

Things that made today suck (and it's only noon!)
1. I got a $220 ticket for speeding in a school zone.
I DON'T SPEED. I AM THE MOST ANAL RETENTIVELY SLOW GRANDMA DRIVER EVER.
2. The stupid dining room table broke. Again.
3. My crabs are dying, apparently because they can't molt in their spiffy blue Crayola sand. So I basically payed extra to kill them. Stupid stupid stupid.
4. All my pet money is now going towards that stupid ticket.
5. I've been having "contraction" for three days. Not efficient ones, just ones that are uncomfortable enough to piss me off worse than I would be anyway.
WTF.

Things of Note:
12:53-ish (am)
I may or may not be in labor. I was hoping it would wait until after inauguration day, but the contractions seem to indicate otherwise.
If you haven't received a call from Mr. Legs by 5 or 6 this morning, don't worry, it means the contractions have stopped and nothing happened.
I found a blog that's sort of a guide to the extreme southern area of Texas. Ya'all should check it out. it's called Todo Padre and there's some awesome photographs up there...I'll try to find the URL later. Assuming I'm not in extreme pain.
Took the munchkins and the beasties to the park today. Zero jumped into the fountain, apparently not realizing that there was water behind the cement wall.
Then, as we were walking by the big used-to-be-a-pool, Swiper went to get a drink and, mistaking a large floating mass of leaves for a cement step, went in head first.
He sank like a rock and had to be hauled out bodily. He hasn't even been near his water bowl since. 0.o
Anyhoo, wish me lots of super painful contractions, and if Mr. legs hasn't called you by the time you read this don't worry, nothing's happening. Seriously, you know I'd have him call you even if it was 2 in the morning. :-P

Update
Let's see...2 Birthdays down, one to go.
DD #2 went to the Dr for another ear infection. Got the name of a pediatrician for Roland. I have another OB appt tomorrow.
It's been pretty cold here, and so dry I have started using A & D ointment on my crispy, crackily hands.
I've moved a picnic table over by the back door and started gathering my garden stuff for the spring. I'm going to put my attempts at a veggie garden in the back yard, this year. I have so many spiffy flower seeds for the front that I didn't get to use last year. The Vinka are still hanging on, and we'll get some more pansies when it warms up a bit.

7th Birthday
Woo hoo! We've made it seven years without any major incidents for daughter #1.
She may survive to adulthood.
We had cake and ice cream today, and we'll go to the zoo and pick out her present on Saturday. We decided to spring for a zoo pass this year so we can spend some time walking there this summer. I'm kind of pleased with how the cake turned out; Diabetes Pony, new from Hasbro. By the time the kids are grown up I'm going to be so awesome at cake-ing.
