7th Birthday

Woo hoo! We've made it seven years without any major incidents for daughter #1.
She may survive to adulthood.

We had cake and ice cream today, and we'll go to the zoo and pick out her present on Saturday. We decided to spring for a zoo pass this year so we can spend some time walking there this summer. I'm kind of pleased with how the cake turned out; Diabetes Pony, new from Hasbro. By the time the kids are grown up I'm going to be so awesome at cake-ing.

What a fabulous pony cake! You are going to be an expert by the time the kids are grown up! Just in time for the grandkids if you live anywhere near them...Zoo pass sounds like a great idea as well! We sure have missed you all :-(
Stay warm!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAUGHTER #1!!!!one!!1

Matt wants to know if that's the dinosaur cake mold, and I don't care, cause it looks AWESOME.

I do need ideas, though, for her and the next little one. Is #1 liking the knitting, would she like a box for her stuff, or maybe some toy thingy? A book card? Sun hat and binocs for the zoo?

I think your little red daughter is going to get something I've already seen, but if there's an idea floating around in your head for her, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Also, when is the littlest one's b-day? I have Rocketship's marked, but no clue for the her.

Loving you all!

That IS the dinosaur cake pan, which only adds to my inflated sense of self-satisfaction.
